THREE MONTHS OLD: Amlih

This beautiful baby girl was such an intense baby. She just wasn't into laughing or smiling at all. From time to time, she gave us a half-smile for a half-second! But who says you have to smile to be beautiful? These images prove that you don't... One of my very favorite quotes about babies...

Today's session was the beautiful 3-month old, Amlih. She's a serious baby, but a beautiful baby! Don't you agree?

Flashback Friday

These are being posted on Flashback Friday because this little guy is probably two years old now. His mommy recently ordered the "Little Tiger" collage so I thought I would post the other two collages that I designed too. In the middle collage he is photographed with his cousin, Ally. Aren't they two precious little ones?

Nicki: the baby on the Previous post was Rylee. She was, two years old at the time, I think, I was just wanting to post a WORDLESS WEDNESDAY post and since the SAINTS big win is still on everyone's minds around here, I remembered this little girl wearing the Saints dress. I have a few of her with her cousin, Madsion, that I have photographed pretty regular, in her LSU pillowcase dress. Maybe I will post them soon too. It's neat looking at back some of my older sessions. I agree Rylee is a beautiful little girl.

Baby Girl and Baby Boy...

I love that I captured both babies asleep. That's always the challenge with twins. The biggest challeng this session was capturing them awake at the same time. Next time I think that will be much better, but for now, I do think I captured some beautiful twin portraits for Delilah's and Leon's families.

Who knew that pacifers could be props too!

I love Delilah's hand in the collage on her brother's shoulder.

I didn't capture as many good images of Delilah as I did o her brother. Next time it will probably be the other way around.

Today I had a rough visit at the dentist office. It took quite a while before my mouth/face started feeling normal again...so while I was still feeling numb and totally not myself, I started working on editing the recent "just babies" images. I hope you enjoy viewing Little Miss Makenna's images.

ANOTHER LITTLE TIGER: CASH (12 weeks old)

ISN'T HE THE CUTEST LITTLE TIGER?

Often this age is a little difficult to photograph. They aren't tiny newborns that curl up and they aren't that great at holding their heads up while laying on their tummies, but with a little patience, we got some images that I think Cash's mommy will be pleased with.

Cash is wear a purple LSU jersey that his daddy wore when he was a toddler. I love photographing children in clothing that has such a sentimental strings like these.

I just love his big eyes in these two close up images!

Hayden and his cousin, Ali I photographed them a while back and it was actually Ali's 3-month portrait session and Baby Hayden just came for the ride. Well, I guess you could call it that. Ali is now six-months old is this image. Isn't she even more adorable now than she was 3-months ago?

Okay, that's one more session completely edited and ready for client viewing. Believe it or not, I am getting closer and closer to being caught up! Yea!
