TWO-MONTH BABY GIRL AND HER MOMMY:

PRETTY IN PINK:

Yes, "E" is for Emily!
[and yes, she and her family are Southern Miss fans.]

I love the expression on Baby Emily's face in this one and the way her little foot is on top of the other one.

She looks pretty in blue with those big blue eyes!

My very favorite kind of expressions...SORT OF SMURKY!

Isn't she a doll baby?

And the best place in the world...leaning on mommy's shoulder!

Are they a beautiful pair?

And pretty in pink again in a softer pastel tone....

I still have lots of work to do today. I was going to work on this for a bit and then I was going to spend the rest of the day getting organized--mapping out a plan for the week. Well, one thing led to another and I decided to try to finish editing this session and then do the rest.

I still have a few mores sessions to be caught up and lots of other work to do, but it feels good to finish something today. Often I work on many things or start on many new products, but I have the darndest time finishing...I have recently diagonsed myself with ADULT A.D.D...(I think I have it really bad...especially since I've been sick this winter). I am also doing my own research of things to do to help me stay focused. And it will take a serious effort on my part, but I can do this...do you hear me convincing myself. Sometimes we all have to convince ourself that we can accomplish things that seem virtually impossible.
I still covet your prayers on so many different aspects in my life!
Thanks for viewing my favs of Baby Emily and her mommy, LeAnn!.

Casey, if you are checking this, I am working in order. Avery's is next...if nothing goes wrong, I should have something available to be viewed tomorrow or the next day.

ONE-YEAR AGO TODAY...

MARCH 16, 2008
I photographed engagement photos for my son, grandaughter and her mommy who would soon officially become an "Ainsworth" too. It is always so hard for me to work with my own children's schedules along with mine to do personal work. But we finally did with less the 3 months to go.
I also used the images to create their wedding invitation. This image above was one side of the flat invitation. The other side had all the info...when, where, time, etc.
This image age was one also one of my favorites from the session. I added a quote to it and displayed it at the reception...on Natalie's cake table. We had the bride's cake and her table, the groom's cake and his table and we couldn't leave out our little sweetheart. Natalie had her own brown cake w/pink dots and her own table.
The engagement session went quite well...especially considering it was my own family! It is hard to believe that was only a year ago!

SORT OF SAD SATURDAY....

Yes, it is sort of sad that little ones go from this...

...to this in less than three years.

I am feeling a little better today, but not as good as yesterday. I did get a little work done yestesday, nothing significant, but it's a good start in the right direction.

I plan to do some mental organizing tomorrow afternoon and hoping to put the organization into play next week. But for now, I leave you with some precious, but not new images, of my little sweetheart. I can't look at this precious face enough. She is here today and at the moment taking a little nap and I am trying to think of something special for us to do when she wakes up. I try to make our times together as special by trying to do little things. At her age, little things are big things! I love it!

WORDLESS WEDNESDAY

TODDLER/GIRL: ONE-YEAR PORTRAITS

THIS IS STARLET!
SHE TURNED ONE-YEAR OLD THE DAY I PHOTOGRAPHED THESE! I am still backtracking a little. These were finished and available for her parents to see before the Christmas (even though I photographed the session late Oct...I think). I had these ready and wanted to share a few new images along with some additional info. But first the images.
I don't remember what was so funny...but Little Miss S thought it was hillarious as you can see in the profile! What a laugh!

All posed like a "little lady"...

Sweet face...I can see both her parents that I met a year earlier in this photos:

Babies always want to eat the beads!
AND YOU KNOW I LOVE THESE EYELASHES!
These are just a few of my favs from the sweet little girl's traditional one-year portraits. I also photographed her eating a beautiful birthday cake. I will try to post a few of those at a later date. She was MY FIRST SURROGATE BABY! Okay, to date she is still my only surrogate baby (as far as I know).
I will try to post Me Being Brutally Honest, Part 2 soon. If you missed the original post, click HERE. I am still not feeling well and I still having difficulties focusing. I am trying to make today a productive day. I am also going to call the eye doctor. I am beginning to wonder if the focusing issues that I am having are very real...not just mental. Later yesterday and today, I am really noticing that I am doing some serious concentrating to read the text on the computer screen! I so want/need to get to the bottom of all of this. If you pray, please, please pray for me. I sooooo want to feel better and so need to catch up, but I can't even begin to get a grasp on things until I can.
Thanks for being my blog-friend, client-friend...just thanks for being my friend. And I am thanking you in advance for praying for me.
To Casey: I am sorry...I am guessing when you read the title, you thought it was Avery. If I can get my game on today and tomorrow...it won't be much longer. I KNOW you can and will pray for me! Thanks, I love ya, girl!

SIX-MONTH OLD BABY and his mommy

ABOVE: MY FAVORITE FROM THIS SESSION
Baby Nicholas was quite the busy baby boy...actually, I think he is older than 6 months because of timing of getting the session schedule along with holidays, etc. Other than him trying to crawl away, this would be typical mommy and baby session with baby approximately 6-9 months, etc.
This one is sweet.

even more precious...and checkout those eyelashes!

a traditional posed image of mommy and baby...

a close-up of the special bond/relationship...

And one last one with a quote...

Okay, I am beginning to do a little catching up...not a recent session, but since the holidays. I still have some backtracking, but I just finished these and wanted to share.
Enjoy.
