FLASHBACK FRIDAY

LITTLE MISS LILY....

Little Miss Lily was photographed approximately 3 years ago (May 3, 2007), pre-blogging days, thus her images were never posted or blogged. So how appropriate to post these. I was going through a phase of using different tones and tints. I've gone back to more classic style and who knows maybe I will play more again soon, but I did learn through that phase as interesting and as pretty as they are, what usually sells are more traditional images. That is probably why I ended up gettting back the basics more. But who knows what phase I will go through next as I photographer. I do KNOW that I still really like these images. I hope you enjoy seeing them too!

Flashback Friday

THIS IS ANDREW!

I met Andrew and his mommy four years ago. I photographed Andrew's new baby session April 17, 2006. Wasn't he a very handsome baby boy? "Times flies fast when you're loving on babies!" I bet that's what he grandmothers say!

Then and Now THURSDAY #6

ABOUT TWO YEARS AGO I PHOTOGRAPHED THIS HANDSOME BABY BOY WITH LOTS AND LOTS OF HAIR and this was...

THEN...

Austin was 7 weeks old. A little older than I recommend for a newborn session. So I will just say this session was a "new baby" session. Wasn't he such a handsome/beautiful new baby!

NOW...

Now Austin is a handsome, sweet, adorable, lovable, two-year old! I photographed this Tuesday and I thought this morning since it is Thursday today...I should post these as THEN AND NOW THURSDAY POST.

HAPPY EASTER from jami ainsworth portraits

THIS WAS GOING TO BE A FLASHBACK FRIDAY....

...but for some reason blogger was not letting me load images Friday morning when I worked on the post.

So now it's just HAPPY EASTER post.
Yes, this is my little sweetheart, Natalie, four Easter's ago. She was about 8 months old.

THEN AND NOW THURSDAY #5

THEN:

I first met this little guy almost 5 years ago. He was past the ideal age for a newborn session so he wasn't the most cooperative little guy. He fought sleep...didn't curl up like a newborn...well, he was about 6 weeks when we did the session and he was born a large newborn. He wasn't wasting time about growing up either. He was gaining weight very quickly. He, in my opinion, probably because my babies and grandbaby at the time was small, was a large baby and quite adorable with those big blue eyes.

See what I mean? Here he is a few months later a much more happier baby.

NOW:

Now here is a cute, sweet, adorable little boy loving on some Easter Bunnies!

Today this little guy is 5 years old. Happy Birthday, Conner!

As a photographer, it is so neat to watch children grow up in photographs!
