HANDSOME THREE-YEAR-OLD BOY and his mommy

NOTE: To get a more "true view" of these images and any that I post, click on the image. Often blogger doesn't not reflect the true quality of images.
THIS IS LAYNE.
Layne just turned three back in the summer. But his mommy and I decided that the fall would be a better time to capture this milestone in portraits. I took this just a few days ago, last Saturday afternoon (the first official weekend of fall). I must admit it didn't feel too fall like, but it certainly felt much better than the middle of summer.
I have photographed him first as a newborn and several times since. It is so sweet to watch children grow up in photographs.
Isn't he a handsome little guy? I just love him!

Layne and his beauitful mommy...

again...

I love this one. My images often post out of order...the last image in this post, I prompted him to hug and kiss his mommy (before this was taken), but what I love about this one so much is the fact that he just did it! So, so sweet! Kind of makes me miss mine being a little boy...sniff, sniff.

Serious...but for some reason, I just love this one too!

When I was sitting across the swing (doing my thing), I could not resist trying to capture this. Yeah, you know what I am talking about...THE EYELASHES!

Promped by Mrs. Jami...still a sweet one too!

I still have some to catch up (some backtracking). This was my last session and it since it was a change of pace from all the babies sessions, I couldn't resist working on these and sharing.
ENJOY!

TWO-MONTH BABY GIRL AND HER MOMMY:

PRETTY IN PINK:

Yes, "E" is for Emily!
[and yes, she and her family are Southern Miss fans.]

I love the expression on Baby Emily's face in this one and the way her little foot is on top of the other one.

She looks pretty in blue with those big blue eyes!

My very favorite kind of expressions...SORT OF SMURKY!

Isn't she a doll baby?

And the best place in the world...leaning on mommy's shoulder!

Are they a beautiful pair?

And pretty in pink again in a softer pastel tone....

I still have lots of work to do today. I was going to work on this for a bit and then I was going to spend the rest of the day getting organized--mapping out a plan for the week. Well, one thing led to another and I decided to try to finish editing this session and then do the rest.

I still have a few mores sessions to be caught up and lots of other work to do, but it feels good to finish something today. Often I work on many things or start on many new products, but I have the darndest time finishing...I have recently diagonsed myself with ADULT A.D.D...(I think I have it really bad...especially since I've been sick this winter). I am also doing my own research of things to do to help me stay focused. And it will take a serious effort on my part, but I can do this...do you hear me convincing myself. Sometimes we all have to convince ourself that we can accomplish things that seem virtually impossible.
I still covet your prayers on so many different aspects in my life!
Thanks for viewing my favs of Baby Emily and her mommy, LeAnn!.

Casey, if you are checking this, I am working in order. Avery's is next...if nothing goes wrong, I should have something available to be viewed tomorrow or the next day.

SIX-MONTH OLD BABY and his mommy

ABOVE: MY FAVORITE FROM THIS SESSION
Baby Nicholas was quite the busy baby boy...actually, I think he is older than 6 months because of timing of getting the session schedule along with holidays, etc. Other than him trying to crawl away, this would be typical mommy and baby session with baby approximately 6-9 months, etc.
This one is sweet.

even more precious...and checkout those eyelashes!

a traditional posed image of mommy and baby...

a close-up of the special bond/relationship...

And one last one with a quote...

Okay, I am beginning to do a little catching up...not a recent session, but since the holidays. I still have some backtracking, but I just finished these and wanted to share.
Enjoy.
