MERRY CHRISTMAS

I was hoping to get this in the mail before Christmas, but oh well...I tried!
MERRY CHRISTMAS FROM
JAMI AINSWORTH PORTRAITS
AND
THE AINSWORTH FAMILY!

Madison's Christmas Portraits

Isn't she a doll?

For some reason, this dress and this photo makes me think of Gone with Wind. I think it is two things. Her riding side saddle on the rocking horse and the deep emerald green dress.

Madison is almost two. Her birthday was about a week after the images. I have photographed Madison several times since she was born. It is so amazing how much they change!

Skyler and her brother, Cayden

I just love, love photos of children in their Christmas attire. When my two children (my son and daughter) were young, I loved dressing them (and us, their parents) in coordinating holiday themed or just the same colors for Christmas Portrait and cards and for attending church. Now I love photographing other people's children. (But I still get to dress Natalie in pretty holidays clothes too. NATALIE'S HOLIDAY ATTIRE )
She was quite easy to amuse.

She, too, loved my rocking horse!

And her big brother did too!

Okay, I am almost through posting holiday images. By for now that's it.

I just love babies and Christmas...

CAN YOU STAND ANOTHER TUTU CUTE BABY? I CAN'T GET ENOUGH OF THIS KIND OF STUFF. I AM SO LOVING TUTUS. I AM SO GLAD MY FIRST GRANDCHILD WAS GIRL. {SHE'S WANTS BALLERINA STUFF FOR CHRISTMAS...SO SWEET!}
This is Landry. Isn't she a doll...

Can you believe it is almost Christmas? Is it sneaking up on all of you like it has me?

IS YOUR CHILD ON THE "NICE" LIST?

http://family.go.com/santas-list/video/56358-mimi2natalie/

Check out this video. This is one of the cutest little videos I have seen. I received this email from DisneyFamily.com about this. After you join this website or whatever you call it, all you have to do is upload a photo of your child. Couldn't be any easier!

I can't wait to watch Natalie view. Brittany had already watched it when I talked to her earlier today. If Natalie has even half the excitement that her Aunt Cari had, then Randy suggestion was right on. He suggested that Natalie not see it the first time until we can see her watching it...which should be tomorrow or the next day. I did feel compelled to show it to you, my blog readers, since all you may not view NATALIE' WORLD (my first blog), I wanted to include it here too so that you can have an opportunity to do this with the special little one in your life this holiday season.

Have fun making memories with the Little Ones this Wonderful Time of the Year!

CHRISTMAS PORTRAIT PACKAGES ARE IN & IMAGES OF NATALIE

I bet your expecting images of my little sweetheart, Natalie. This is another Natalie and she is also three years old and just as adorable as she can be. I am sure she IS someone's sweetheart. With a face and a smile like that you gotta be... These are a few images from the first Christmas Promo.

I did not have back-to-back sessions at this point. So we did two outfits. And I had to capture some images of her just playing...I couldn't resist.

She looked so precious in the Santa hat. I think this is the one her mommy chose for their Christmas cards.
CHRISTMAS PORTRAIT PACKAGES:
  • My husband is being a sweetheart as I write this. He is taking them to Dianne's Frames so that you can pick them up at your convenience.
  • Since it is the end of the day and he will probably get them there just before closing, you can pick them up tomorrow (12.17.08).
  • I think the Frame and Gift shop opens at 10:00, but feel free to call and see before you go by there.

HOLIDAY ANNOUCEMENTS

TODAY'S ANNOUCEMENTS
CHRISTMAS PORTRAITS...
  • CHRISTMAS PROMOTION PORTRAIT PACKAGES HAVE BEEN DELAYED BY U.P.S.
  • THEY ARE EXPECTED TO BE DELIVERED TODAY, BUT THEN AGAIN, THEY WERE ALSO EXPECTED TO BE DELIVERED YESTERDAY
  • IF THEY ARE DELIVERED EARLY ENOUGH TODAY, I WILL GET THEM TO DIANNE'S FRAMES, BUT OFTEN DELIVERIES COME HERE LATE IN THE DAY AND THE FRAME SHOP CLOSES AT 5:00.

CHRISTMAS CARDS/ BIRTH ANNOUCEMENTS...

  • All Christmas Cards/Birth Annoucements that have been ordered, have been shipped by the lab by yesterday's date (12.15.08).
  • Delivery is normally in 2 days, but if after 3 days, please let me know.
  • You should receive them at your home address by U.P.S. As you can see from the Christmas Portraits that UPS seems to be having some delivery issues...which I guess may be common for this time of year, but very frustrating for us (the recipient of the packages).

OTHER PORTRAIT ORDERS...

  • Many of your portrait orders will be delivered to your home also by UPS shipped to directly to you from the lab (to save time).
  • Not all orders will by shipped to you, so email me to find out if you should get with me or be watching the UPS truck.

That's it for now. I feel like my blog is the best way for me to give a variety of information to a large group of people. Please feel free to share this with others that you think may be inquiring about their portraits.

PRETTY IN PINK...I MEAN...HANDSOME IN PINK

WIL AND HAYDEN

sweet, huh?

(even if did only get a few of those--moms love these--I know I doo)

Have you seen any more handsome boys in pink?
Wil

Hayden
I am still trying to catch up. I plan to get a lot of word done the next few days since I have schedule "work" days this week...not sessions. I just wanted to post a few more images from the recent Christmas promotion (I say recent...these are from the first one).

I had posted last week that the Christmas Packages would be available pick up at Dianne's Frames on Friday. Well for some reason they were delayed through UPS shipping. I do expect to receive those today, but it may be late in the day. So stay tuned as to which day they will be available to pick up.
Okay, I just wanted to post something. I still have a lot of more ordering to do and the older sessions to get finished before I can begin my holiday shopping and planning. I have several sets of images ready that I have recently ordered so I just wanted to pause a few and give you something new to view.
So back to all the other work for me.

Little ones and John Deere...How Sweet!

This little tractor and this candy cane was the only thing that made Braxton happy when he was being photographed for his Christmas Portraits...so that's what he got!

This is Colton from the collage at the top. He got a little more out of his Christmas Session portraits than just Christmas....

THAT'S IT FOR NOW.

Reagan and Colton more blue with Red for Christmas

SOME OF MY FAVS FROM THE WINTERWONDERLAND PROMO OF REAGAN AND HER BABY BROTHER, COLTON...

CHRISTMAS CARDS ARE IN; NOT PORTRAITS (pkgs)

If you ordered Christmas Cards, they will be available today at Dianne's Frames after 4:00. If you ordered portraits, they may not be available until Monday afternoon. I have information that they were shipped and I was due to receive them today, but as of 2:05 (12.12.08). They are not here yet. I apologize for this inconvenience.

IF YOU FORGOT YOUR TOY...

...and you can meet me at Dairy Queen today around 4:00.

Thanks,
jami

SANTA SOLDERS SNAPSHOT AND CHRISTMAS PORTRAITS ARE IN

LEFT TO RIGHT (above): Cari, Brittany, Emma (in front of B), me, a solder, and Natalie

Left to right backrow: Mark Porter (from the radio station...I think) and Santa
Left to right front: Tanya (my big helper last Christmas Season), Cari, Brittany, Emma (in front of Brittany), me, Solder volunteer, and Natalie.
SNAPSHOT FIRST...
These two photos were taken last year at Dairy Queen. Each year my gift to you is no session fee for Holiday Portrait Session. Your gift and mine to need children in our area is the toy that you bring to save money on your Christmas Portrait Package. Each year the radio station hosts a toy drive for Santa Solders at Dairy Queen. Well, this year today is the day (12.12.08). After I pick Cari up from school, we will delivery "our" toys to Dairy Queen. These photos were taken last year with my "new" snapshot camera at the time. It's not such a great photo, but just a snapshot...so yes, sometimes photographers have images that are just snapshots. We aren't happy with them, but they are much better than nothing!
TODAY BEFORE I TAKE THE TOYS TO DAIRY QUEEN, I WILL BE DELIVERING YOUR CHRISTMAS CARDS AND CHRISTMAS PORTRAITS TO DIANNE'S FRAMES (NEXT DOOR TO DAIRY QUEEN)
WHAT TIME?
4:00ish

Okay, that's it for now...I have to finish getting the packages ready.

I missed one...

I mean two. After I hit preview, I realized that I missed this simple collage of these two that I forgot to include and then I saw the one of Ava too. Yes, I had the one of Maddox and this one of Ava included as an individual image, but I also wanted to show how they nice they looked in ths simple collage.

Aren't they just adorabe?

SOMETHING A LITTLE DIFFERENT: Cheerleaders

Okay, I am doing some serious catching or backtracking...whatever you want to call it. Now that I have most all the Christmas sessions done, most all the Christmas cards ordered (except mine), and all the newborn sessions that will be photographed before Christmas...it is time to go back and do some serious catching up. I did the cheerleaders just before the madness hit! I did their individual images and a group photo for their memory mates composite. I also did some "friend" images and some silly ones! I thought I would post them here too to show "something a little different" for me.

I think this was the group shot used in the memory mate.
These days no mater what you do someone always asks for a "crazy" shot!

That's it for the cheerleaders!
