Flashback Friday

These are being posted on Flashback Friday because this little guy is probably two years old now. His mommy recently ordered the "Little Tiger" collage so I thought I would post the other two collages that I designed too. In the middle collage he is photographed with his cousin, Ally. Aren't they two precious little ones?
REMEMBER: To view the collages and storyboard larger, click on the images.
Nicki: the baby on the Previous post was Rylee. She was, two years old at the time, I think, I was just wanting to post a WORDLESS WEDNESDAY post and since the SAINTS big win is still on everyone's minds around here, I remembered this little girl wearing the Saints dress. I have a few of her with her cousin, Madsion, that I have photographed pretty regular, in her LSU pillowcase dress. Maybe I will post them soon too. It's neat looking at back some of my older sessions. I agree Rylee is a beautiful little girl.

FLASHBACK FRIDAY...

A COLLAGE AND A STORYBOARD...
The images included in this collage were photographed June 6, 2008 (approximately one year ago). This is Madison. These images were created as part of her one-year old portrait session. I think she is expecting a new sibling soon. I haven't talked to her mommy lately, but that was what she told me the last time I did talk to her.
ABOVE IMAGE: ONE YEAR AGO
The images included in this storyboard were created exactly one year ago today as part of her two-year old portraits to create another photo invitation. Which reminds me, if we're going to do that for this year's party, we need to make a plan. To those of you that may be new to my blog, this is my grandaughter, Natalie. I did photo invitations to her birthday parties for her first and 2nd parties. I intended to do so again last year, but time slipped away. I do hope to do one this year. I have some great ideas for it, but as usual, I have more ideas than I have time for. LOL

HAPPY FRIDAY!

One More Session finished: Two month baby boy

THIS IS BABY COLIN.These images that I am posting are my favorites from his recent portrait session. Colin's grandmother brought him here for his first portrait session. Isn't his mother going to be so surprized to see her handsome little boy's first portraits?

a collage of assorted images that were captured during the session...

LITTLE SLUGGER...
When I was editing these images, I thought this one looked like he just threw a pitch. Then I realized it was his left hand. You know how coaches love those lefthanded pitchers!

"Every Good an Perfect Gift is from Above". James 1:17
It doesn't get much more perfect that a a new baby!

Isn't he just adorable? I love they kick their feet in the air.

Such a handsome baby face...

That's it for now. I just wanted to go ahead and post these quickly because I just sent the email to his grandmother along with her password to view his images.

"IT'S MY PARTY, I CAN CRY IF I WANT TO!"

...well, you definitely can if you are one-year old!

"miss january"

As you might suspect these images are from the 2nd half of Little Miss Avery's One-Year Portrait Session/Birthday Cake Session!

She wasn't in the greatest of moods for her session. I think she didn't finish her morning nap...so could you blame her for being just a little cranky. A girl's gotta have her sleep!

But when we got the cake out...she dug in...still not all smiles, but totally enjoying her cake!

She wasn't paying attention to me (photographer) or anyone else by this time. She loved this cake. It wasn't her first time to have cake....often the first time an almost one-year old has cake for the first time it is here...during their birthday cake session. Because of schedules and illnesses, Avery's party came first. So she knew she liked cake!

Collages and storyboards are a great way to display the images from a birthday cake session. This is one of the collages that I made with some of Avery's images.
I am down to two more sessions, but still lots of other work. I wanted to get this blogged and online for Avery's mommy and Nonna to see!
Enjoy!

NEWBORN: SILAS (still backtracking)

SILAS, 2 wks (I think)
This is a different kind of collage than I normally do that I thought I would try with Silas' images! I have reposted a larger view of some of the same images...obviously, my favs were used in the collage.
I love his hand placement on his mouth and don't you just adore those dimples!

Again, as I have stated before, in Louisiana, we start training our young ones the way of "the tiger" very early in life!

Love those sleeping smiles...

cuddled in daddy's arms...

beautiful mommy--beautiful baby boy!

I just love this little guy!
One day I really am going to catch up, but for now here's something new [well, there still new to your eyesy!] to feast your eyes on. He really is delicious looking, isn't he. Couldn't you just eat this little baby face?

CHRISTMAS PORTRAITS...A Beautiful Toddler

LITTLE MISS JULIA I love this first image. It's like she is posing for her portrait!
Her mommy had many favorites. So we came up with this simple collage...

I love this one too!

Another one of those "eyelash" images.

The close-up of the eyelashes...isn't this just beautiful!
We had quite a fun little session with Little Miss Julia! She was quite delightful!
I am a bit overwhelmed as to what direction I need to take today. I feel like I have lost about 2 weeks or more due to computer problems and promotion sessions. So before I go any further, I thought you would like to view something beautiful.

BEAUTIFUL BABY BOY AND HANDSOME BROTHER

SEE WHAT I MEAN! Any mom who has ever given birth to a baby boy totally understands how beautiful and boy go together. I learned that all to well almost 20 years ago when my beautiful baby boy was born. Of course, before he was born I knew I already loved him. And as soon as I saw his beautiful face, I knew of a love that I did not know existed until that moment in time...a moment that I will never forget. What mom could?
I still remember my husband's cousin (Karen) helping me in my room after the delivering. I remember her asking was I ready to have another baby. My answer was definitely yes...just not today (the day I delivered). I knew I wanted to feel that euphoric feeling again.

Baby Broghan (with eyes open...I don't get too many of these with newborns)
What beautiful, perfect lips...makes you want to kiss him, huh?

These are some of the images that I have been behind on. I am working overtime this week and next week trying to catch up. I did, however, get this birth annoucement much sooner for them to send out (while he still looked like this).

Mothers love images of their children (siblings) loving each other.

Keaton and his future sports buddy, Broghan

One of Broghan's Collages:

Storyboard of Keaton and Broghan:

Often I have a sessions that make mommies and grandmothers cry. And I cannot be in the presence with anyone who cries that I don't cry too (just ask my mom). I am so tenderhearted. But who could not choke on tears when witnessing this:

To Broghan and Keaton's Mommy: Check your email. These are ready to view online and I even saved a few of my favorites just for your viewing only and/or whoever you choose to share your password with.

I really love the outcome of this session!

Enjoy...

My New Daugher-in-Law and My Little Sweetheart, Natalie

Two years ago and 10 months ago, when my grand daughter, Natalie, was born, Brittany became a part of our family. It's official. She shares the same name as her daughter, her husband and the rest of our family. It was a simple beautitul wedding. I am so proud of my son and new daughter. Of course, Natalie made everything all the more precious. I wanted to quickly post some images from the bridal session that was done before the wedding and some other images that were used at the wedding. I only took a few at the wedding. I did hire a professional photographer to capture the memories of this special day. But I couldn't resist having a camera in my lap too. I did have a great angle of Natalie trying to help her mommy and daddy with the unity candle that I will post later. But for now please enjoy these images:

This first one was my favorite from the Bridal Portrait Session and was displayed at the door of the reception.

I designed this collage for a special wedding favor that I made (I mean my husband made...I did designed it, but my sweet husband came through for me and really helped out the last few weeks).
Natalie kissing her mommy.
I designed this collage from the first engagment session that we did in the fall on the campus of LSU. It was displayed on an easel on the groom's table with his LSU cake.
This was the engagement signature board. Rather than matting a 5x7 or 4x6 for the wedding party to sign at the rehearsal dinner, I made this in a 11x14 size for them to sign. Through all the chaos, I forgot to take it to the rehearsal dinner. So I just took it back to the lake house and asked everyone to sign it while waiting to take their photographs.
[AREN'T THEY A CUTE COUPLE/FAMILY? I THINK THESE COLLAGES REALLY DEPICT THEIR RELATIONSHIP.]

I also loved this one and did another wall portrait in this image and it was displayed near the bride's table.

Isn't she beautiful?
And her mommy is too.

I love, love this one too. I don't think it was posed. I think it was just what I caught Brittany doing while thinking about what we would do next. She is such a natural.

We must have at least one tinted image, uh?
I have more images posted on Natalie's blog from the wedding day.
That's it for now. I will try to post more images later.

P.S.
I am re-posting this because there was an error in it.
Natalie's Blog:
Let's see if this one works. There was an error in the first time I made. I corrected the spelling, but the link didn't correct itself. So I deleted it and re-added. Hopefully, this one will work. If not go to my favorites and click on "My Little Sweetheart".
