MAKENNA and her mommy

I am backtracking so much today. And here I am the next day adding the text. My little sweetheart walked into the door before I finished.

The first image of Makenna is my favorite close-up from this session. I have so many faves that I can't say my fave from the whole session. Makenna was that fun age this summer when I photographed her.

Here she is with her proud mommy.
My WORDLESS WEDNESDAY image from yesterday...

Playing with mommy...

again...

Close-up fave is beautiful in color too...

So difficult to crawl in a tutu. Right, Makenna?

Makenna and her daddy's dog tags.

and why not?
ANOTHER TUTU...
Have I mentioned that I love tutus?

How do you like the new business card that I created with one of Makenna's images?
That's it for now. I have to photograph another newborn in a bit.

Backtracking: Erin and Brandon and JOHN DEERE

COUNTRY BOY AND GIRLY COUNTRY GIRL:
JOHN DEERE STORYBOARD

Ballerina Baby/Country Girl!

"I'll let you wear my tutu IF you let me play with your tractor."
named by Penny. Thanks, Penny, for playing!

The formal (more traditional) portrait...

Little Miss Erin is wearing an heirloom dress that all the baby girls have wore in her family for years. Now it was her turn. How much more special does this make these portraits!

This little boy loves his tractors!

See what I mean...he is so engrossed in his play! I love capturing images like this.

She seems to say, "Nah, tractors are not for me!"

I love this one...how she looks like she is doing her best to stay still and not lose her balance.

And could this one be any sweeter?
Okay, that's it for now. We are knee deep in having every room re-painted around here. Whew! What an ordeal! So that's it for now!
Enjoy!

CADE AND MACY

CADE I love the crop of this image. I was cropping a favorite image (shown here in color in the basket) for a close-up shot in one of the parts collages of him. Now I think it is one of my favorite images (cropped just like this) from the whole session.
I love the way babies hold their feet.

I like the way he is leaning in on this one. Of course, we were holding our breath in hopes that he would NOT decide to lunge out the chair. [We did have his mommy spotting him, but it is always one of my fears.]

This was series/group of images captured with his sister with them being angels and I zoomed in for this sweet one of just him. I think it is just precious.

MACY
What a beautiful angel!

Boys can be angels too!
As you can see from this capture, this little guy could not or would not be still. He wanted to go, go, go!

Macy outside...

Cade and Macy with their Mommy...

Little Tiger Fans...
I love the way he is holding the football!

The Little Rookie...

and his big sister the model...
Do you remember my post AMERICAN'S NEXT TOP MODEL? This is the same little girl! She loved modeling for me!

This is same image as the first one (not cropped and not convert to black and white). As you can see, it is a great capture either way!

Angels...

After dance camp, being sick (that I am still getting over), mini vacation, birthday party and I am sure some other details that I am over looking at the moment, I have been doing some catching up this week on editing and ordering too. So hopefully soon, I will have more to post. Though I also undergoing some major work here in my home/studio. I will try to keep my posting updated.

Baby Douglas and his family (Part 2)

FAMILY IMAGE #1 FAMILY IMAGE #2
I recently photographed Douglas. I posted the SNEAKPEAK soon after the session. And I recently posted this image for WORDLESS WEDNESDAY. I thought a few more images worthy of posting. So that's what this post is for and my new pole regarding the first two images that I will be setting up real soon. I like both family images, but for different reasons. So just curious: What is your favorite image of Douglas' Family? The previous poll was fun. Image #1 had 94% of the votes and Image #2 had only 11%. I was totally wondering why I even considered the 2nd image until it finally got a vote and then another one! Who knows, maybe you 11% voters were being rebels! LOL Oh well! What ever reason you voted, Thanks! It was fun and now let's do it again. But this time (though not required), comment and tell me what it's your favorite! I am sure Douglas' mom would like to know too!

I love the way his eyes sparkle as much as his smile in this image!

Little Miss Julia..being her sweet, talkative, self!

Again, I love the way the lighting was just right with the sun beginning to go down and the sparkle that it reflected his his beautiful eyes...Oh Let's not forget those beautiful eyeslashes!

Peek-a-boo...

SIX-MONTH PORTRAITS: Eli

ELI'S SIX-MONTH PORTRAIT SESSION

This first images looks like he about to say something. I love his eyes in it.

His mommy and I both loved the way his hand was on this little chair in this one.

I love photos with little ones holding their feet.

Also I love photos of babies leaning forward when they first learn to sit-up...it really helps them balance.

tinted image...

he so wants to crawl...
This was just too funny to delete...it sort of reminds me of a comedian...someone like Robin Williams telling a funny story or something. Any other ideas? What does it make you think of?

I took this one for the the eyelash profile.

You know I love, love these eyelashes (close-up of the above images).

This is the same image I posted previously in a black and white image.

I love rubber duckies and babies in tubs!

We sure had him cracked up!

E-L-I..

This little guy had so many good images. I narrowed it down to thirty and I could put all of them on here as my favs. So don't you feel sorry for his mommy on making her decision on these?
