We finally did it. My husband and I have been planning on doing this for over two years. Our grandbaby was born in 2005 the year we were married 20 years. So we just couldn't pull ourself away. Since then, there are always a million reasons to put if off. So after 22 years, almost 2 months to the day (we were married November 29th 1985), we left for our first "real" trip on January 28, 2008 for a 5 day cruise to the Western Carribean. We had the time of our lives and wondered why we haven't done this before now.
I forgot to leave a message on my answering machine pertaining to our week absence. So if you tried to reach me last week, this is why you couldn't. I am back now and getting back at it as quickly as possible. But for now I leave with a quote that I use....
"Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take,
But by the moments that take our breath away."
P.S. That was our actually sunset at Cozumel. And the photo of the both of us in with our little point and shoot with Randy holding it. Kind of interesting angle, uh? LOL
